Apollo Hospitals Jabalpur is looking for an experienced Dietician to join our Dietetics & Nutrition Department. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing customized nutrition plans, providing dietary counseling, and working closely with healthcare professionals to improve patient health outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and health conditions to develop personalized diet plans.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for patients with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and renal conditions.
• Collaborate with doctors, surgeons, and clinical teams to design nutrition strategies for pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Guide ICU, oncology, nephrology, and pediatric patients on special dietary requirements to aid recovery and overall well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, weight management, and disease prevention.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary dietary modifications based on their response to treatment.
• Plan and supervise hospital meal services to ensure compliance with nutritional standards and patient-specific requirements.
• Work on community nutrition programs and corporate wellness initiatives to promote preventive healthcare.
• Stay updated on the latest research in clinical nutrition, dietetics, and food science to enhance patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, or Food Science from a recognized institution.
• 1-10 years of experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, or clinical nutrition setting.
• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic diets, enteral & parenteral nutrition, and disease-specific meal planning.
• Strong expertise in diabetes management, weight loss programs, and cardiovascular nutrition.
• Excellent communication skills to counsel patients and work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in meal planning software, diet assessment tools, and nutritional tracking applications.
• Ability to adapt diet plans for different patient demographics, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and critical care patients.
