Apollo Hospitals Jabalpur is looking for experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacists to join our dynamic hospital pharmacy team. The selected candidates will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and counseling patients on drug usage and interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications safely and accurately as per doctor prescriptions.
  • Review prescription orders to check for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and allergies.
  • Provide medication counseling to patients regarding dosage, side effects, and storage.
  • Maintain proper stock levels, inventory control, and expiry monitoring of drugs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and drug safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical support.
  • Manage emergency and critical care medication supply for ICU, ER, and surgical departments.
  • Handle narcotic and high-risk drug storage as per legal regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with new drug formulations, advancements, and clinical research.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient records for all dispensed medications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Pharma / M.Pharma from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2-10 years of experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of drug formulations, interactions, and hospital pharmacy protocols.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments, especially in emergency and ICU settings.
  • Knowledge of national drug regulations, NABH guidelines, and quality control measures.
