Apollo Hospitals Jabalpur is looking for skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our pathology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining sample integrity, and following infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for diagnostic tests.
• Ensure safe and hygienic handling of blood samples to prevent contamination.
• Label and transport specimens to the laboratory following hospital guidelines.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure a comfortable experience.
• Handle difficult venous access cases with expertise and patience.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to NABL, infection control, and biohazard waste disposal protocols.
• Assist in blood donation drives and mobile phlebotomy services when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Phlebotomy Certification.
• 0-10 years of experience in hospital, diagnostic labs, or blood banks.
• Strong knowledge of blood collection techniques and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using vacutainers, syringes, and butterfly needles.
• Ability to handle nervous patients, children, and elderly individuals with care.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) for sample tracking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
