At Global Institute of Medical Science & Health Care, we recognize our responsibility towards the communities in which we operate. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are undertaken with the objective of contributing to positive and lasting social impact while supporting the broader needs of society.
Our CSR Policy provides a framework for identifying, planning, implementing and monitoring CSR initiatives in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014, as amended from time to time.

The CSR Policy aims to:
- Provide a framework for undertaking CSR initiatives in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Ensure effective implementation and reporting of CSR initiatives.
- Encourage employee participation in CSR activities.
- Create positive and sustainable social impact through community-focused initiatives.
Focus Areas of CSR
The organization may undertake CSR projects and programmes falling within the activities specified under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, including:
- Eradication of hunger, poverty and malnutrition.
- Promotion of healthcare, preventive healthcare and sanitation.
- Safe drinking water and sanitation initiatives.
- Promotion of education and special education.
- Employment-enhancing vocational skills and livelihood enhancement.
- Gender equality and women empowerment.
- Support for senior citizens and socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
- Environmental sustainability and ecological conservation.
- Protection of national heritage, art and culture.
- Support for armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents.
- Promotion of rural, national and recognized sports, including Paralympic and Olympic sports.
- Contributions towards eligible relief and welfare funds.
- Rural development projects.
- Slum area development.
- Other sustainable development initiatives based on community needs, as permitted under applicable law.
Geographical Reach
The CSR Policy gives preference to the local area and areas surrounding the organization’s operations. The Policy specifically identifies Jabalpur and nearby villages in Madhya Pradesh as the preferred geographical area for CSR activities, while permitting the Board/Committee to identify other areas as appropriate.
Implementation & Monitoring
CSR activities are undertaken as projects or programmes, including new and ongoing initiatives, in accordance with the applicable CSR framework. Projects may be implemented directly by the organization or through specialized agencies with an established track record in the CSR field.
The CSR budget is determined for each financial year, with provisions for planning, implementation, monitoring and, where applicable, impact assessment of CSR projects.
CSR Policy & Annual CSR Disclosures For transparency and statutory disclosure, the organization makes available its CSR Policy and annual CSR activity reports.
